Viceminister Strategic Development of Natural Resources, Ministry of Environment, Peru
Gabriel Quijandría is Viceminister for Strategic Development of Natural Resources in the Ministry of Environment of Peru. He has over 15 years of experience in the promotion of sustainable development, focused on environmental issues. Mr. Quijandría is an expert in development, enforcement and assessment of public policy, projects of financial and technical international cooperation with bilateral, multilateral and private sources, policy-oriented research, training and education activities and consulting for institutions from the public and private sector. He has a Degree in Sociology from the University of the Republic of Uruguay, and a Master’s Degree in Natural Resource Management from the Central Administration Institute (INCAE), Costa Rica.
