Elizabeth Jiménez Zamora is professor at CIDES UMSA, the Graduate School in Interdisciplinary Social Sciences of the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés in La Paz, Bolivia. She is in charge of coordinating the Masters Program in Development Economics and the Research Division of CIDES UMSA. She has done research on issues related to gender and employment, rural development, climate change and the role of non-renewable natural resources in sustainable development. Ms. Jimenez also coordinated a north-south platform of universities and researchers. Most recent book publications include: ¿Puede el Litio Energizar el Desarrollo Sostenible en Bolivia? (2014)
