Assistant Director-General FAO
Eduardo Rojas Briales is Assistant Director-General of the United Nations Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) and Head of its Forestry Department. Previous positions held include Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Agronomy of the Polytechnic University of Valencia and Chair of the Professional Board of Foresters in the Region Valencia. Mr. Rojas is a member of the Forest Science and Technology Research Group of the Polytechnic University of Valencia and of the IUFRO Forest Legislation Working Group. He holds a MSc in Forestry from the University of Freiburg and PhD from the Polytechnic University of Madrid.
