Deuteronomy Kasaro is Senior Forestry Extension Officer and National REDD+ Coordinator of the Forestry Department in Zambia.Currently he is coordinating the REDD+ readiness process in Zambia aimed at developing a national strategy to reduce deforestation and forest degradation.He has coordinated community-based forest management planning processes and led some action planning processes through stakeholder consultations and forest resource assessments.In addition, he has been involved in policy and legislation reviews in Zambia.
