Executive Director of the Earth Innovation Institute (formerly IPAM)
Daniel Nepstad is the Executive Director of the Earth Innovation Institute (formerly IPAM). As a tropical ecologist, he is an expert in tropical forest responses to climate change.
Previously, Mr. Nepstad worked as Senior Scientist at the Woods Hole Research. He is a member of the REDD Offset Working group and of the World Bank’s Forest Program External Advisory Group, and a lead author of the Fifth Assessment of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC, Working Group 2).
Daniel Nepstad also was a lecturer at Yale University, School of Forestry & Environmental Studies.
