Scientist, CIFOR
Daisuke Naito is a Scientist with the Center for International Forestry Research’s (CIFOR) Forests and Livelihoods Program. Prior to joining CIFOR he was based in Kyoto, working for the Research Institute for Humanity and Nature. Mr. Naito has been involved in the consultation process of Free Prior Informed Consent (FPIC) guidelines for the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and has worked on research in market-based natural resource management and its impact on local communities. He holds a PhD from Kyoto University.
