Director, Natural Environment & Climate Issues, World Vision International
Christopher Shore is Director, Natural Environment & Climate Issues for World Vision International, with overall responsibility for this rapidly emerging part of the World Vision ministry portfolio. Until July 2014, he was also leading a major effort in Africa – Securing Africa’s Future – which addressed the issue of building improved and resilient livelihoods for small-holder farmers affected by both entrenched poverty and the effects of climate change. Previously, he led World Vision’s work in Economic Development. In this capacity, he led the development of World Vision’s first work in economic recovery, and into innovative ways of raising microfinance capital. Mr. Shore has worked in various other positions at World Vision and in the private sector. He holds both an MBA and an undergraduate degree in Finance.
