Governor of Jalisco, Mexico
Aristóteles Sandoval is the Governor of Jalisco for the 2013-2018 term. He is a lawyer from the University of Guadalajara and holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Management from the Western Institute of Technology and Higher Education (ITESO). He was councilor of the City Council of Guadalajara (2001-2003), local representative in the LVII Legislative Term, and president of the Municipality of Guadalajara from 2010 to 2012. He was a professor at the Division of Legal Studies of the University of Guadalajara, has given several conferences on youth participation in politics, and has been part of roundtables analyzing electoral processes.
