Director of Negotiation and Commercial Promotion, National Forest Commission, Mexico
Ana Karla Perea Blazquez currently works at the International Affairs Unit of Mexico’s National Forest Commission as the Director of Negotiation and Commercial Promotion. She also is the REDD+ Focal Point for Mexico. Prior to this, she was the safeguards coordinator at the National Forest Commission.Ms. Perea holds a Master’s degree from the School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, Yale University, where she developed a research project focused on the identification and analysis of adaptation strategies to drought on the Yucatan Peninsula.
