Head Forest Institute of Amapá, Brazil
Ana Euler is the Head of the Forest Institute of Amapá in the Brazilian Amazon, and a radio presenter. She is a Forest Engineer with 15 years of experience in the Amazon. In her position at the Forest Institute, she is responsible for 2.4 hectares of public forest, giving technical support to more than 3000 rural producers and indigenous peoples. Ms. Euler also worked as project manager in Burkina Faso, under the Brazil-Africa Platform. Besides Forest Engineering, she has a Master’s degree in Remote Sensing and Mapping of Tropical Forests and a PhD in Forest Ecology, both from the National University of Yokohama, Japan.
