Photographer’s comment: “The condor is the king of the Colombian paramo and plays a role in many indigenous stories. Where he once used to form part of the Andean Landscape, he now has become a rarely seen bird. This hopefully will change through the start-up of new conservation and education projects including the local people in the area.”
