Traditional transportation–Inle Lake, Myanmar
Photographer’s comment: “Inle Lake is the second largest lake in Myanmar and contains a lot of endemic species. People live around the lake in small villages, on the shore line or even in houses build with long pilotis. Communities live from fishing, artcrafts, aquaculture, and tourism. The lake is threatened by nutrients load from increasing population, agriculture and tourism industry.”
