Photographer’s comment: “Taken in the Mevo Beitar forest of Israel. This area is full of rock walls and remains of ancient civilizations during the second temple period of Jerusalem (~400BCE – 100CE). The forest is dominated with Pinus halepensis and Cupressus sempervirens. “
