Marmosets (Pygmy Marmosets; Amazonia Peru)
Photographer’s comment: “Meet the Marmosets (Pygmy Marmosets; Amazonia Peru); Pygmy Marmosets (Cebuella pygmaea) are the smallest monkeys on Earth, they’re one representative of the arboreal mammalian group that has the largest biomass in the Amazon Rainforest. Monkeys serve as important seed dispersers for forest regeneration, indicators of current conditions in a given area and flagship species for the conservation of the forest they inhabit.“
