Elephant patrol – Indonesia
Photographer’s comment: “A group of elephant patrol just back from the forest in Mane, Aceh, Indonesia. The patrol team uses captive elephants to monitor illegal mining, illegal logging, poaching and forest fire. The elephant patrol report their findings to the local law enforcement authority. Indonesian forest are threatened by forest degradation and deforestation.“
