Director, Cotzil, Guatemala
Ramiro Batzin is the Director of the organization Cotzil in Guatemala. Previously he was Indigenous Representative of (a Maya Kaqchikel himself) at the Consejo Nacional de Cambio Climático, member of the Mesa Indígena de Cambio Climático, member of the Consejo Indígena de Centro América, focal point at the Convention for Biological Diversity, among others. Mr. Batzin is a journalist with a degree in Communication.
