President of the Regional Government of Amazonas, Peru
José Berley Arista Arbildo is the President of the Regional Government of Amazonas, Peru. He has held important positions as National Director of Public Budget and Vice Minister of Finance in the Ministry of Economy and Finance. He has also held positions in Banco de la Nación, Andean Development Corporation (CAF) and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). Mr. Arista has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Catholic University of Peru (PUCP). He also studied in the Economics PhD Program of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
