Per Pharo is Director of the Government of Norway’s International Climate and Forest Initiative (http://www.regjeringen.no/en/dep/kld/kampanjer/the-governments-climate-and-tree-project). He has worked at McKinsey & Company, at the Norwegian Ministry of Defense, and at the Norwegian Institute of Defense Studies. He holds a Candidatus Philologiae degree in history from the University of Oslo and a BA in government & international affairs from Augustana College, Sioux Falls.
