Sarah Carter

PhD candidate, Wageningen University

Sarah Carter is a PhD candidate at Wageningen University, and part of CIFOR’s global comparative study on REDD+. Her research focuses on the interactions between agriculture and forestry in terms of competition for land, emissions from land use and land use change, and the potential for developing mitigation actions in both sectors. Previously she worked on a number of development projects based on payments for emissions reductions in Asia and East Africa.
