Tea farming in Kenya could be devastated by the impact of climate change unless new climate-smart agriculture is adopted. The use of an assessment tool developed by EcoAgriculture Partners and the Rainforest Alliance, which is working to transition to a landscape management approach in this region, can help identify the strengths of current activities and opportunities for additions moving forward. Financing the future of tea production in Kenya continues to present a challenge, but the opportunities available to farmers are now clearer than they once were.
