Being able to express and share my greatest passion with people of my age was something I never believed could happen. Working towards an idea might be deeply exhausting sometimes, as it gets harder and harder to believe that it can actually come true. But then you have the opportunity to create and imagine innovative […]

One of the main challenges in our society today is putting the world in a sustainable trajectory. As Jared Diamond wrote parodying Winston Churchill, sustainability is the most unlikely future, except for all the other options. However, it is hard to be an optimist these days. The wealth of the richest 1% has overcome the […]

It’s over a month since the workshop of the Youth in Landscape Initiative and the Global Landscapes Forum ended.  Personally, I had expectations about how it would be and if I would be prepared for an event of this greatness. It would be a real challenge to attend an event in which many people were […]

They are passionate about landscape and they all have the same objective : find solutions for humans and for the environment. 5 five teams were created: education, landscape restoration, […]

At the workshop, we ended each day by giving a word that would best describe our experience. Some words were appropriate and some were just out of this world but they made sense—I guess it’s the power of youths’ creativity. The workshop was a month ago but it feels like yesterday. And if I were […]

  • My participation in the YIL 2015 (The most inspiring event I attended)

How I got there I must confess that my participation in Youth in Landscapes Initiative (YIL) 2015 was one of those “nice” accidents of destiny. I was looking for some scientific literature for my research, when all of the sudden, I found myself in the web page of global landscape forum. I do not even […]
